Incredible Support for Scleroderma Research!
Thanks to Cure Scleroderma and the amazing efforts of Anja Romling and her team, we’ve received another generous donation of €18,700 through the 5th Walk for Scleroderma! Combined with the €30,000 donated in previous editions, this brings the total support to an impressive amount.
This funding makes a significant impact on our research, including the ESScENT study at KU Leuven. This study explores the causes of systemic sclerosis, focusing on factors like genetics and exposure to certain substances. With over 550 patients and 1,100 controls involved, we’re making great progress and expect important results in the coming years.
